![]() ![]() ![]() As a pre-lab activity, students are exposed to the anatomical structures they will encounter during the hands-on dissection, minimizing student questions and lab time. While virtual dissection software is a great alternative to hands-on dissection, it is also an engaging supplemental activity that can be used for preparation and assessment. Assessment questions about each separate system are available in editable PDF format for you to e-mail or print for your students. As students review the anatomical structures and their functions, you can easily track student progress through the Teacher Dashboard. Students are then quizzed on what they have learned they are asked to replace the organs based on their name or function. A photo and/or video may also be available of the structure at the time of removal. During the dissection, students remove organs or other anatomical structures from each of the systems and their functions are displayed. Then they dissect the frog's digestive, circulatory, reproductive, and skeletal systems.
