New fan blade and grille designs enable a larger airflow volume with minimal resistance, cutting operation noise to a minimum. The introduction of an uneven fan-blade pitch and a remote-controlled vane add further significant reductions to air resistance as well. Innovations like the multi-angled heat exchanger, modified fin shape and large-diameter fan have increased efficiency while allowing greater airflow volume to be pushed through at lower speeds. To put that into perspective, consider that background noise in a library is 30dB. Our indoor units are some of the quietest in the industry, operating at a noise level of as low as 19 dB. The MSZ-GE series features some of the quietest indoor units in the industry, as low as 19 B(A). Ultra quiet operation during the day and even quieter at night.
